How to Beat the Heat this Summer

The summer is full of fun, but when faced with very hot temperatures we face some problems. Having to cool down, being lazy and the worst: sunburns.
I have some ways that you can have a great summer while beating the heat!

1. Use Sunscreen
This may seem very basic, but many people ignore using sunscreen. DON'T! You can still get a good tan with sunscreen, with the added bonus of preventing horrible burns and protecting yourself from skin cancer.

2. Make a Beverage Boat for the Pool or Beach
Grab some floating pool noodles and cut it into 4 pieces (two long and two short). Use strong string or rope and push it through the noodle wholes and tie so that it forms a rectangle. Place a plastic container full of ice and drinks inside the rectangle and there you go!

3. Make Your Own Slip N Slide
It's very simple to make. You need a huge sheet of plastic, dish soap, a hill, water, and stakes. You lay out the plastic sheet from the top of the hill and apply dish soap and water to the plastic. Use the stakes to keep each of the ends of the plastic in place so it doesn't move when someones sliding. All of the neighborhood kids will be lined up to try it!

4.Freeze Aloe Vera to Soothe a Sunburn
Make sure Aloe Vera is the only ingredient in your Aloe Gel. Grab an ice cube tray and fill it with the Aloe. Let it freeze and then it's perfect to rub on your harsh sunburns.

Hope these help you beat the heat this summer :)
